Our aim is to create an engaging environment for everyone to be happy, independent, and confident so that they can flourish.

About Mr Green

I have taught in various school across Medway and Kent, teaching in  different years groups. I am passionate about learning and love to share my experience, knowledge and skills.

I love to travel and on my travels have swung with orangutans in Borneo and watched in awe, flying fish! One special moment was meeting Duke Of Edinburgh when I receive my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Another of my passions is to cook and of course enjoy a range of fine cuisines!

I look forward to meeting and welcoming parents and children of Blyton Class.

Our timetable can be downloaded below. Here, parents and pupils have the opportunity to view the class schedule to see the day-to-day routine including the range of curriculum that is covered.

Our learning this year will be based on the topics below and will change accordingly each term. Parents will receive a newsletter at the start of each term informing them about what the children will be learning. This will also be available below to download.

Children will be given home learning each week on a Friday to hand in the following Wednesday. They will be given one piece of maths, one piece of Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling and will need to read their Accelerator reading book regularly. This is so they can complete the quizzes on them in class-reading as many words so that they can receive their reading awards.

Children have a login to practice their times tables using an online program. We compete against Dickens Class in Year 5, our rivals, in a friendly manner!
