The PTA of Ditton Church of England Junior School is an active parent / teacher association, organised by a small committee. Our primary mandate is to raise funds that enhance the pupils’ education and help assist in provisions of learning.
Funds raised by the PTA have been used to help reinstate and enhance the outside learning area and garden.
The PTA also work closely with the school leadership on larger projects such as the new plan of introducing forest school inspired learning to the pupils and last year the development of the school library.
An annual programme of Social and Fundraising events are organised with significant support from the entire school community. These include our very popular Fireworks Extravaganza, Christmas events and stalls at the Infant Summer Fayre, as well as the smaller events such as discos and secret present rooms.
PTA events are fun and always well attended and make a positive contribution to pupils’ overall school experience.
We are looking for new members to join the group and increase the capacity to raise funds for the school, its environment and resources.
