Our welcome session for the children joining Ditton C of E Junior school in September 2026 took place on Thursday 18th June.
You can now access the information pack, which includes everything you need to know about the school, daily routines, the experiences your children will enjoy, and other important information to help prepare for the transition.
The next key dates to note are Transition Day on 2nd July and your child’s first day of school on 3rd September.
Thursday 2nd July – Induction Visit Day
- Children will start and end the day at Infants School
- Lunch will be at Infants School
- Range of curriculum and enrichment activities with their Year 3 team
- Collect from Infants school at the normal time
Thursday 3rd July – First Day of Junior School
- Pupils will start school at 08:30 – 08:45
- Parents/Carers walk pupils to the playground for teachers to greet them
- Please confirm if the pupil will be having a school dinner or packed lunch
- Parents/Carers to collect pupils at 15:15 from the Blue doors
