The PTA of Ditton Church of England Junior School is an active parent / teacher association, organised by a small committee.
Our primary mandate is to raise funds that enhance the pupils' education and help assist in provisions of learning.
Funds raised by the PTA have been used to help reinstate and enhance the outside learning area and garden.
The PTA also work closely with the school leadership on larger projects such as the new plan of introducing forest school inspired learning to the pupils.
An annual programme of Social and Fundraising events are organised with significant support from the entire school community. These include our very popular Fireworks Extravaganza, Christmas Bazaar, and Summer Fayre, as well as the smaller events such as discos and secret present rooms.
PTA events are fun and always well attended and make a positive contribution to pupils’ overall school experience.
The PTA committee is elected each October, and meetings are held regularly both during the day and evening. The committee is always keen to hear from people who are interested in joining them or from those who would like to help on an ad hoc basis.
