World Book Day 2nd March 2006 Lots of great book ideas to celebrate the world of reading here. |
September 2006 Year 3 – Year 4 – Year 5 – Year 6 -
These children have been nominated by their teachers to be awarded the coveted Broadley Achievement Trophy. This is given in recognition to a pupil demonstrating a particular effort or improvement in work, behaviour or any other aspect of school life. Martin Broadley was the previous Headteacher of Ditton Junior School and he left the school a trophy for each year group to reward successes throughout the year.
House points are awarded for good manners, great effort, completing work to the best of your ability. Bronze is awarded for 25 points, Silver for 50 and Gold for 100. These points are totaled up and the house which gains the most points over the year is awarded the Housepoint Shield.
A chance to celebrate the amazing quality of work produced by our pupils. Take a look at the art work, read the poetry, experience their ICT skills…
Does your brain need some exercise? Here are some puzzles (including the popular new Sudoku puzzles) to get you thinking. If you’d like some recognition, print them out, complete them and post them in the ICT mailbox outside the suite and your name will go up in lights!
